two bottles of $20 red wine is better than one bottle of $20 wine...

Hey guys!

Yesterday was S A T U R D A Y!, and that meant: "fuck partying, I gotta rest!"...
The thing is, this friday I had wine class with red wine tasting and afterwards me. Tadd, Alyse and Lauren went to st. Kilda to meet my roommates. We got some expensive nice wine leftovers from wine tasting class, (from $20 and up in retail stores), to drink at st. Kilda. Sadly things took more time than expected and when we got there, the sun was going down and it had gotten pretty cold.. *sad pandas* went back to the city, had some food and a beer then we went back to our place and had some more wine. We played some drinking games and some of us got very drunk. We had a good time though! but in conclusion, yesterday was resting day! watched some movies just chilling out ya know;)!

Right now I'm in our backyard trying to get a tan, gotta love the sun in this country, It can warm the coolest heart!

Tadd told me the other day that the reef-club are arranging advance diving certificate courses in the next weeks or so, so thats on my schedule! Cheap course and a lot of fun diving, including wreck diving, night dive etc. should be great practice for our trip to cairns at the end of this semester. Looking forward to this!

Life in Australia is great, but I miss a lot of the people back home. Don't think I would be able to move here permanently.. but on the other hand I will miss a lot of the people here, but then again most of them are going to their home countries after this semester.. Melancholy already?

Anyways, gotta live in the moment right?

If anybody from home would like to talk to me, my skype is denitz87, and if you need help installing skype - ask a friend or something (it's not that hard!)

I guess that's all for now folks!

take care and I'll write soon!
XO

It's sunny, but I'm cold...

It's been a week since last i posted something here and there has been some stuff going on!

School is pretty slow at the moment, got a few things to do, but nothing that takes alot of time... I know this pisses Emmy off, but it's not my fault.
Feels like spring finally has arrived here in Melbourne, it's great! Although I feel a cold coming on I'm still happy.

Last friday I met up with a friend at the Eagle bar, had a few cold ones and then there was some sort of postgraduate thing going on. Meant free food for me and meeting interesting people of different academic specialities. Very nice evening!

The next day, me and the gang went to the Melbourne zoo! The man to thank for this is Grant who drove us there and showed us around, Thank you Grant!
I don't know much to write about this though, some animals, alot of birds and billions of annoying kids! If there was a forbidding sign of any kind, of course a kid would be there! But enough complaints about that, in the evening our good Italian friends cooked us dinner and we had a great time eating and drinking together. Then we ended up in the city! Went clubbing and late in the morning I got home and got some good earned sleep.

Sunday passed without any adventures, Monday as well.

I might get an international drivers license this week and do some practise driving, but we'll see. On friday it's red wine tasting, should be great...

Anyways toodeloo I've got some studies to do...

See Y'allz

Spring anytime soon?

*insert cool greeting here*

SO whats been going on down here..?
Last week went by VERY fast, so fast I hardly remember it by now!

It was mostly being in school doing school stuff until thursday, eagle bar as usual on thursdays, kind of a mellow night actually.. Friday started with a hangover that sucked, went to class and felt sick for a bit and afterwards I ate breakfast at Subway here on campus, took an hour to get the food down my throat... But in that afternoon we had our first wine tasting tutorial, so after about two glasses of wine the hangover was cured. At the end of the tutorial, me and some of the other wine tasters were a bit tipsy so we got over to eagle bar to get some beers... (maybe this blog should be named "dennis drinking in the world upside down"...?) anyways, some friends joined us in the house later that evening for some pre-drinking and later still we went to a club. Had a blast!

On saturday we were tired and just watched movies, some friends joined, Thank you xandra for the delicious pizzas!

Sunday went by fast and we celebrated Bjoern for his 22nd birthday, had a blast, maybe I had just a little bit too much wine (wasn't feeling that good yesterday)

anyways, I'll try to do more fun stuff to write about!

See y'all!

School starts foh realz!

Hey there, I'll try to keep this interesting...

So since last time there has been a bit of socializing, in thursday we ended at chrisholm for some pre drinking and later on eagle bar, was it good? Yes I think so, can't remember much of the night. Although I didn't get that "drunk" until I got home and me and Andy thought it would be a good idea to drink some whisky before bedtime. We were wrong... The next day I had class at 9:30 (got to bed about 2:30), and the hangover wasn't merciful. I felt sick during the class and I was late. But it was my class in Wine tourism and marketing so... I mean it's not that bad ;) Had tutorial in the same afternoon, at 2pm, Got introduced to what the tutorials are going to be like. Let's just say that I think this unit will be my favorite this semester. For instance next week we are going to learn "how to taste wine", and we all know that it refers to "getting tipsy in school", ergo - awesome ;)

That evening we were suposed to celebrate Jules and Katrinas birthdays at Menzies college, but me and Andy were a bit late and we met up with the party people at the tram station on our way to the city. We got to a place called "Wah Wah Lounge" and even though the place was a bit small (got crowded easily) I had a good time, haven't danced so much in ages! Thanks girls for bringing us!

We took the "night rider" to get home at first, but there was a crazy lady sitting behind me trying to do "wet willy's" on me. She scared the crap out of me when I saw her approaching in the periferi view(?) and I hit my head n the ceiling when I jumped up... Luckily Jacinta was very nice and gave me and Andy a ride home, meaning I hopefully will never see this crazy asshole of a woman again!

Yesterday (saturday) we were hungover and it was raining outside so not much happened, for the evening our german friends Björn and Marc joined for some football (soccer) Inter Vs Milan, good game, Swedish player Zlatan made a goal for Milan and the game ended with Milan winning with 2 goals against 1. Since I don't really follow any sport I was happy, Andy on the other hand who supports Inter was a bit disappointed... Nice night though, thanks guys!

Today I have to study, got an (rather small but still) assignment due to wednesday and it contains quite a lot of reading so gotta get started, hence the title... Shouldn't be too hard though! I mean I'm pretty awesome ;)

Think that's about it for this time!

Cheers guys!

Ps. I'm too lazy today to check the spelling...

Pics from where I am atm...

Keep bloggin' bloggin' bloggin' bloggin' , WHAT!

Hey there, stalkers!

So as usual I'm a bit slow at this blogging stuff, but wtf (why the face) here goes!

I've just had my first class in Interpersonal skills and conflict management, really interesting (for me that is!). actually very excited about the rest of the semester with this unit!

Right now I'm at the augora which is the meeting point here at LaTrobe, it's about 20°C and the sun is shining! Pretty awesome for being "Winter"! ... australians... YESH! They don't know what they're talking about... I mean for bullocks sake I'm too warm in my spring jacket! But I'm not complaining, I'm happy and trying to brag =)

Next up is a Lab class in information system practices, dunno much about that.. It's about XML WSDL and Web services..? should be good for me since I wasn't really paying much attention to it back in Sweden...?

So I'm taking the courses E-Business systems, Information Systems Practices, Interpersonal skills and conflict management and Wine tourism and marketing (eg. drinking wine in class and visiting wineyards eg AWESOME! )

Plans for the weekend so far is to try to find a sports bar for saturday, some soccer game that André wanted to see..? I'll support him I guess ;)

See you laterz!

ps. Haven't had time for the cribs clip yet... It'll be up soon!
